  • Tiffany Flowerday Brooks - I have happy tears for God’s provisions and HIS faithfulness. Long ago I shared with you our journey when you had shared transparently on fb your deep pain over this. Since then you have never left my mind. God has done something profound with me as well. He put you, Branden and your family to come in a place in my heart.I was given one direction by God…to pray for you all out of the shared heartbreak and immense love we share over the children that are worth waiting for.. So even as a friend from afar, the Holy Spirit has connected us, as I’m sure He has done with many others. I am delighted and overwhelmed with joy for you both! The Spirit can do amazing things connecting His people for God’s ultimate glory! So as your sister in Christ I congratulate you!!! Thank you for sharing your story….HIS story of redemption for all of us to witness. Praising our God from whom all blessings flow! My prayers continue for all FOUR of you. Love to you all!ReplyCancel

  • brian - Katie, I have no words to express my joy about this. Branden had mentioned it to me briefly and knew it was serious. I prayed once….but with an assurance that something would happen. Congratulations. can’t wait to be called uncle brian from Africa-Kenya.ReplyCancel

  • Wayne and Betty Roland - Katie – our husbands are friends through going to Ecola and I just read your post and wanted to congratulate you and Brandon. Wayne and I also went through the fertility journey. We got married later in life at 36. We immediately started trying for a baby, but due to my age an a few other things each month came w disappointment. We were referred to an amazing fertility dr – Dr Stoelk. After many tests and 4 rounds of injections and IUIs God gave us our miracle – Hannah born on 12/5. A short 6 month later we became pregnant w our 2nd miracle – Lucas born 2/17. No fertility treatments to get pregnant w Lucas and 14 months apart was a bit challenging for a few years but we now have a 5 and 4 year old who are a picture of God’s miracle and faithfulness. I am so happy for your 2 miracles growing inside you and anyone who has struggled w getting pregnant knows the heartache and joy and the countless conversations w God praying for a miracle. God bless ur family and we will continue to pray. Betty (and Wayne) RolandReplyCancel

  • Kimie Beeching - Hi Katie! I’m Shayna Beeching’s mom from Eastpoint in Spokane-yrs. ago. 🙂 I seen your blog on Branden’s FB and I am so glad that I read your testimony! First of all, Congratulations! Our God is so faithful to keep His promises! I was and am so blessed by your testimony as I have been standing on that same bible verse that God gave me since the fall of 2011… I am standing on the promise of restoration of my marriage. It is so hard to ‘believe’ when the circumstances scream otherwise, BUT GOD! He is not a man that he should lie. He has proven Himself faithful time and time again in so many ways- and now you are one of the ways that He has encouraged me to keep standing. God Bless you mama and your little “double” blessings! 🙂ReplyCancel
